Pastured Poultry

Our chicken rations are designed to simplify the task of raising broilers for meat and pullets for egg production.  We have enabled you to start all your chicks on our 20% Grower Ration product.  Your broilers will remain on the 20% feed until the desired market weight is obtained.  Your pullets may be fed the 20% feed until they reach 16 weeks.  Then at 16 weeks switch to our 16% Laying Ration product for their untire laying cycle.

TIPS

  • Always provide plenty of fresh water.  Many health problems start with a lack of adequate fresh water
  • Keep your chicks warm and dry
  • Provide adequate space and fresh air
  • Provide free choice oyster shells for your laying hens to keep a good hard shell quality on your eggs

Turkey Rations

We supply a complete feeding program for raising turkeys.  Our 28% Starter Ration product should be fed for approximately the first 8 weeks.  Poults should then be fed our 21% Grower Ration product until the birds reach 16 weeks of age.  Finally our 19% Finisher Ration product should be used until the birds reach the desired age or market weight.

TIPS

  • Always provide plenty of fresh water; many health problems start with a lack of adequate fresh water
  • Keep young poults warm and dry
  • Provide adequate space and fresh air

Hog Rations

Our hog finishing program enables you to obtain weaner pigs and raise them to provide good, nutritious, drug free pork products.  Our 18% Grower Ration product may be used for pigs in the weight range of 50 to 120 pounds.  Our 15% Finisher Ration product may then be used until the desired market weight is obtained.  We also have special formulas for feeding gestating and lactating sows as well as baby pig starter feeds.   The special formula and starter feeds are available by special order.

TIPS

  • Provide an abundant supply of fresh water for your hogs
  • Try feeding a slurry by mixing water with your hog feed, as hogs tend to gain weight faster by wet feeding

Caution: Do not wet feed your hogs unless you can feed fresh mixed slurry several times a day.  The wet feed tends to turn sour if not consumed in a reasonable amount of time.

Dairy Rations

We will custom mix our Dairy Ration products for your cows or goats.
